How to correctly install and debug stainless steel mesh conveyor chain

2025-02-27
The stainless steel mesh Conveyor Chain assembly line, also known as the stainless steel mesh chain conveyor or simply the mesh chain conveyor, incorporates elements like the Conveyor Chain, Metal Conveyor Belt, and Wire Mesh Belt. It boasts characteristics of simple structure, light weight, smooth operation, and easy maintenance. The stainless steel mesh chain conveyor can be configured in horizontal, inclined, and curved layouts for conveying products, offering convenience and flexibility. It adapts to complex and evolving production demands and can establish spatial conveying lines. Typically, these conveying lines are fixed. The stainless steel mesh chain conveyor excels in its large conveying capacity and long-distance capabilities, enabling simultaneous multiple process operations during conveyance. It finds widespread application in agricultural machinery manufacturing, automobile manufacturing, home appliance production, food, beverage, and other industries. Therefore, the installation of the stainless steel mesh chain conveyor must be precise:

1.Using the installation drawings of the stainless steel mesh chain conveyor, establish the longitudinal centerline of the equipment for the Weino mesh chain. This longitudinal centerline serves as the installation benchmark for the entire conveyor. Within the workshop, it is usually marked based on the factory building's column grid coordinates. When marking, it is advisable to use the factory column grid as a reference to mark the longitudinal centerline of the conveyor and the transverse centerlines of the head and tail wheels. If associated equipment with the stainless steel mesh chain conveyor is already installed, the centerline should primarily be determined based on the adjacent dimensions of these related equipment during installation. The factory column grid dimensions are for reference only, to better ensure reliable conveyor system operation.

2.On the longitudinal centerline of the stainless steel mesh chain conveyor, first pinpoint the center position of the head axle axis. Then, measure it section by section along the longitudinal centerline to determine the center position of the tail wheel shaft according to the conveyor's total length dimension.

3.The aforementioned steps rely on the centerline to determine the foot position of the relevant racks, the installation position of the tracks, the positioning center size of the drive device, etc.

4.After establishing each center position, identify and clean the relevant structural components based on the civil construction drawings. Then, proceed with various rack installations according to the installation drawings' requirements.

5.Once rack installation (including head rack, tail rack, middle bracket, and drive device rack, etc.) is complete, proceed with track installation.

6.When installing the transmission sprocket shaft components, tightening the sprocket shaft components, and installing the sprocket, ensure minimal coplanar error.

7.Install the Metal Conveyor Belt or Wire Mesh Belt, depending on the specific requirements of the application.

8.Install the Conveyor Chain.

9.Attach load-bearing components to the conveyor chain's accessories. To ensure installation accuracy, typically group the load-bearing components into sets of 4 or 8. Install the first piece of each set first, followed by the second piece. Sequentially install the load-bearing components while adjusting the gap or overlap distance between adjacent load-bearing components. If load-bearing components require multiple assemblies, pre-assemble them.
10.Install other auxiliary devices of the stainless steel mesh chain conveyor, such as various safety shields, safety guardrails, pit covers, material chutes, guide troughs, etc.

11.Simultaneously install the electrical control system during the aforementioned installation process.

12.Apply a topcoat or perform other surface protection treatments on the entire outer surface of the conveyor as per design requirements.

13.Conduct a test run and adjust any parts that do not meet design requirements and specifications.
